Race and Charity Fun Run
Join us in banishing those winter blues away at our Brass-Monkey Race & Fun Run all in aid of Lakelands Hospice.
The family fun run is around 1.5 miles but the big race is an official UKAthletics registered 10k race!
The Brass Monkey 10k race is an exciting chance to run a PB.
We will be giving out medals and goodie bags to all runners and there are age group awards and spot prizes!
We look forward to welcoming you whether it is for serious speed or to enjoy some family fun!!
This incredible cycle adventure connects two of the world's most chic capital cities! You will make your way through beautiful English villages and into the stunning countryside of rural France, passing historical landmarks and famous battlefields until you reach Paris - which is undoubtedly one of the most magical places on earth - and you will experience a full day in Paris to watch Tour de France finish on the Champs Elysees! What an experience!

Day 1: London to Calais
Our challenge begins bright and early from Crystal Palace heading south en route to the coast. (Distance: approx 95 miles)
Day 2: Calais to Abbeville
La belle France! Stunning picturesque countryside awaits us in northern France as we travel south. (Distance: approx 75 miles)
Day 3: Abbeville to Beauvais
Our route this morning follows the river Somme out of Abbeville. (Distance: approx 70 miles
Day 4: Beauvais to Paris
Our final day of cycling and the big push to Paris, our final destination. (Distance: approx 60 miles)
Day 5: Paris to London
A full day in Paris to explore and watch the incredible Tour de France finish! Eurostar home, arriving at St Pancras.

A full kit list will be provided when you sign up but a bike that you are comfortable on and cycle helmet are essential

There’s no lift, no escalator, and no-one to carry you. This is an experience that gets your blood pumping and your head in the great outdoors. It’s what we call Urban Mountaineering. And at Up at The O2. As one of our intrepid Lakelands explorers, you’ll ascend all the way to the top of The O2 via a walkway, suspended 52m above ground level. Kitted out with your climb suit, boots and harness you’ll be every inch the urban mountaineer. Nervous? Don’t be. Our climb guides will be with you every step of the way.

Strictly Corby is our popular version of Strictly Come Dancing which continues to be as popular as ever while raising vital funds for Lakelands Hospice.
Ten "Local Celebrities" get just 10 weeks with their professional partners to perfect their waltz, cha-cha and show dances ready for the big dance off at the Best Western Rockingham Forest Hotel.

Our most recent event in 2018 raised over £61,000 for Lakelands Hospice and we are hoping to top that this year by getting as many people as we can to support their favourite couple.
Tickets always sell out fast but not to worry as you don't have to be there on the night to join in the fun as we go interactive on twitter with commentary, videos and pics.

Three mountains to climb, 24 miles to hike, 1,000 miles to travel, all in 24 hours - the Three Peak Challenge!
The Three Peak Challenge involves climbing the highest mountain in Scotland, England and Wales within 24 hours. We will travel up to Scotland and do Ben Nevis first, travelling back down to do Scafell Pike in the Lake District, England and Snowdon, Wales, respectively.
The Mountains
Ben Nevis - Highest mountain in the UK, at 1,344 meters high, and the longest walk.
Scafell Pike - The highest peak in England at 978 meters, the smallest mountain.
Snowdon - the Welsh giant at 1,085 meters tall.
With the Lakelands Fundraising Team sorting the transport, logistics and being your guides up each mountain, this is the perfect opportunity to do the challenge in the easiest way whilst doing so for a great cause - helping us make the money we need to keep the doors of the hospice open.

The Longest Zip Wire in Europe and the fastest in the World. This challenge will take you up to the top of a quarry in a truck and you can take in the stunning views on the way. You will then descend down the zip wire over the quarry lake reaching speeds of up to 100mph.
