Three mountains to climb, 24 miles to hike, 1,000 miles to travel, all in 24 hours - the Three Peak Challenge!
The Three Peak Challenge involves climbing the highest mountain in Scotland, England and Wales within 24 hours. We will travel up to Scotland and do Ben Nevis first, travelling back down to do Scafell Pike in the Lake District, England and Snowdon, Wales, respectively.
The Mountains
Ben Nevis - Highest mountain in the UK, at 1,344 meters high, and the longest walk.
Scafell Pike - The highest peak in England at 978 meters, the smallest mountain.
Snowdon - the Welsh giant at 1,085 meters tall.
With the Lakelands Fundraising Team sorting the transport, logistics and being your guides up each mountain, this is the perfect opportunity to do the challenge in the easiest way whilst doing so for a great cause - helping us make the money we need to keep the doors of the hospice open.
