For the third consecutive year, Spanhoe Lodge an 8-bedroom B&B in Laxton decorated its buildings and grounds both inside and out with Christmas lights to raise money for Lakelands Hospice throughout December 2019.

The owners Neil and Reece held a Christmas light switch on event on 29th November and switched the lights on daily from 4.30pm – 11pm throughout December, welcoming visitors with warming coffees and mince pies.

Manager Reece Crane said “Huge thanks to those who attended the event and helped raise money for Lakelands Hospice. We saw an increase in visitor numbers this year and received very positive feedback following the event. A big thank you to all our stall holders, Pic ‘n’ Clix, Corby Silver Band and Seaton Starlights”.

A massive thank you Neil and Reece for all your hard work and enthusiasm and for once again choosing Lakelands Hospice to be the beneficiary of your donations. The wonderful generosity of your visitors raised a fantastic £430.48 in December, bringing your total raised to date to a whopping £1156.71.

We look forward to working with you again in Christmas 2020 and can’t wait to see what additions you will add to your spectacular displays.
