Our staff and patients celebrated Royal Ascot Day on Thursday 20th June. Patients dressed in their Sunday best. Elvis joined us in the morning singing everyone’s favourite songs. A lovely buffet lunch was served including delicious deserts that were very kindly donated by Mademoiselle Deserts. Thank you very much for your donation.
We had winners of the best dressed couple, best dressed man and best dressed lady and a winner of our name the dog competition.
Happy Together Ukulele Band played in the afternoon followed by a bet on each race thanks to Paul Newton for his bookmaking skills and even a surprise visit from John McCricick. Finally, a raffle ended off the day before the patients went home.
