A team from the Lloyds Banking Group based across the East & West Midlands and Central England came to Lakeland’s Hospice yesterday as their individual contribution to the Lloyds Banking Group “A day to make a difference” Scheme. This Scheme encourages Lloyd’s banking Group staff to participate in a volunteering programme enabling everyone to spend at least one day per year volunteering for a charity or community project of their choice. Lakeland’s Hospice were lucky enough to be chosen as this team’s charity and to make a difference in a community setting.

This lovely hard working team consisting of Jason, David, Jon, Darren, Shaun and Conrad cut back hedges, tidied borders and generally worked tirelessly in the hospice grounds, and managed to fulfil Irene & Alan’s “fill the skip challenge”. We are so grateful to the Lloyds Banking group for their ongoing support to help maintain the hospice grounds. On behalf of the patients, staff and volunteers we would like to say a huge thank you for supporting us.
