Our first Ladies that Lunch event held at The Holiday Inn was a fabulous success. Our guests were all seated on beautifully set tables and served a delicious 2 course lunch.
After lunch our guests were treated to a wonderful floral demonstration by Marge Dix, during her talk Marge created a beautiful spring themed basket and also a golden themed table decoration. Marge gave our guests lots of very informative information about seasonal spring flowers and how best to condition flowers and foliage before using them in displays.
The afternoon finished with a fabulous raffle, prizes included Marge’s wonderful flower displays which were eagerly won by two of our guests.
All in all, Ladies that Lunch was a resounding success raising £463.00 for Lakelands Hospice. Our next Ladies that Lunch event is on Tuesday 10th September.
