Girl Guides of 24th Kingswood kindly donated a planter full of lovely plants for our patients and nurses to enjoy in our garden.
Janita Mackin, Guide Leader stated that her guides were participating in a Midlands Region badge called ‘Share a Smile’ and they were tasked with creating something or doing a good turn in their community to make people smile. The guides unanimously chose Lakelands’s Hospice as their Charity to help.
Thank you 24th Kingswood Guides for your wonderful planter, as you can see it is already making our Nurse Manager, Tracy Glen smile! We are sure all our patients will love it too and it will be a wonderful addition to our garden.
