Its a training day at the Hospice for all the nursing staff and an ideal opportunity to celebrate a 10 year service award for one of our Hospice at Home Nurses, Mandy Gardiner. Congratulations and thank you Mandy from everyone at Lakelands.
Since the COVID-19 Pandemic we have experienced an unprecedented spike in demand for our Hospice @ Home service and have to date provided 305 nights of care since the outbreak in March 2020 and with all community fundraising on lockdown until Summer 2020 at the earliest we are striving to maintain this frontline service which is so very much needed.
