How You Can Help

Lakelands Hospice receives no statutory support or government funding; the vital service that we provide is funded entirely by voluntary donations. It costs over £350,000 per year to keep the hospice operational, and as time goes on, the need for our services has been increasing.   

We rely heavily on the support of individuals and groups in the community; their support ranges from:       

•  Holding fundraising events (e.g. dances, dinners, dress down days and fancy dress)      

• Attending our own fundraising events (See our forthcoming events)           

• Sponsored or challenge events (e.g. Marathons, swimming and cycling or any competition)

• Regular giving through our Sponsor a Nurse at Work         

• Corporate adoptions (e.g. make us your charity of the year)          

• One off donations         

• Volunteering        

•  Recycle for Lakelands!

•  Shop or sell on EBay for Lakelands!

•  Leave us a gift in your will.
